Silk is a product having been used for production of “hand-made carpet” for centuries however raw material of which is very expensive, requiring great investment and moreover; it has not been preferred for machine-made carpet production due to application difficulties even it was thought to be impossible. Gümüşsuyu overcame these difficulties owing to its long-year experience, specialist technical staff and contemporary production capacity and has been using silk withdrawn from 100% cocoon and has created collection of million-spotted and fringed silk carpet.
